Pics from the northern Smokies

Some cloudy views, finally some sunny views, a few wildflowers, the last caged shelter in the Smokies, and whatever else took my fancy while hiking with mildly sprained ankle:

  1. We are really enjoying your posts! The 7th and last of these pics look like heaven to me, but not so much the first! I prefer a more substantial wall than chain link. Hope your “ankle plan” works out. I can’t imagine hiking like you are on a bad ankle. and you should use your break to do some “RICE.”

    • Doc just came in and said two- three days rest. Getting an ankle brace and have to fetch my own crutches from local drug store.
